Proper Care for the Mason
Pearson Brushes
Since the function of a brush is to cleanse soil from the hair, the brush should be cleaned frequently. A cleaning brush is included with all brushes (except Pocket and Child's Sizes) which is used to remove trapped hair and scales from the bristles. When more thorough cleaning is needed, follow these simple steps: 1. Wash the brush in a sudsy solution of warm water and mild soap. Do not use detergent or ammonia. 2. Rinse well and lay the brush with bristles down on a towel, enabling air to circulate through it. 3. Allow brush to air dry thoroughly, away from direct heat source, for at least 24 hours. Note: Never soak the brush or lay it on its back to dry. Full cleaning instructions are included with each brush. |
