Russia comes alive in the new color collection for nails from OPI. Look
for shades of brown, dark plum, gray, indigo, deep green, red and black
worked into beautifully tailored, ladylike shapes in suits and trousers,
plus slim skirts, fitted dresses, and evening wear featuring strapless
dresses in velvet and cocktail dresses in floaty chiffons and satins.
Naturally, nails are taking their inspiration accordingly, whether they
are echoing the fur (faux or real) seen on cuffs and hemlines,
Russian-style hats and coats, or embellishments like crystals, palettes
and jeweled medallions. The Russian Collection complements the modern
opulence theme seen on the runways beautifully and the collection's
jewel-lie reds and luscious dark tones, including raisin, black, indigo
and chocolate capture the feel of fall's sophisticated, elegant
silhouette, while the pale gold and copper add just the right touch of
shimmer; and the creamy neutral brown-pink is soft as cashmere. |
